Voting Method platform

The Green Party, as a small party, have always been strong supporters of electoral reform. It is well known that their aim is to have proportional representation so that they can have the same percentage of candidates elected to the Congress as the percentage of votes they got in the election.

proportional representation certainly would put an end to the duopoly, but it may not be the best solution.

Apparently, as a mean to that goal, the Green Party also strongly supports IRV. This is an important part of the campaign of Presidential nominees David Cobb and Pat Lamarche.
